Bio
Born a military brat, KeepitSwain moved yearly before finding a home in the South. As he got older, he began to balance out school and life stresses through songwriting & poetry.
This started Swain along his musical path, as he began to rap, sing and engineer his own songs in college. While in Gainesville, Florida he joined with independent label Late Night Early Morning and continues to release music with them today.
Currently residing in Atlanta, KeepitSwain’s music combines lyrical bars and effortless wordplay with a range of southern twang drum breaks and groovy synth-heavy beats. Add that to his high energy live performances and a positive message laced through out his catalogue, and Swain promises to stand out amongst his competition.
He also has become a crucial member in the revolutionary funk band known as The New Groove, alongside singer/songwriter Rravii and producer/artist DJ Ologi.
The New Groove (TNG) went on tour last year performing in Alabama, Florida and Georgia, and received glowing reviews for their latest release of “Burning Up”. Most recently, Swain has been covered in the media for his newest two singles “Spaceship Drip” and “Miracle”, both of which have music videos that are gaining a lot of attention.
